When Was Your Last Good Night's Sleep?
Many people lead busy lifestyles, leaving little time to rest and unwind. Often times when our lives are hectic or stressful, our sleeping patterns can become disrupted and unbalanced. For 58 percent of the people living in the United States, a good night's sleep is something on which they can't always rely. Their restlessness and difficulty falling asleep is often the root cause of many daytime problems, including loss of energy, concentration and productivity.
Many products offer sleep solutions, but they are often accompanied with undesirable and unpleasant side effects. Now there is a natural sleep aid that works quickly, effectively and is non-habit forming!
Fall Asleep. Remain Sleeping. Wake Rested...Without the "Sleep Hangover"!

By helping the body stay rested, the refreshing effect of a good night's sleep can become a reality once more.
The Ingredients of Natural ZZZs Include:
•Valerian Root for Relaxation
Long known for its effect on anxiety and nervousness related sleeplessness, valerian root acts to promote smooth muscle relaxation due to increased GABA concentrations in the nerve endings. Valerian root is one of the most widely known herbs used to help with sleep related issues. It has been found to produce a state of relaxation in many people.
•Jujube Seed for Sleep Support
Used for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine, jujube has been scientifically shown to be an effective sleep aid, as well as promoting increased total sleep time in animal studies.
•Passionflower Extract for Restful Sleep
The dried flowering and fruiting tops of Passionflower are used in traditional herbal preparations for nervousness and difficulty sleeping. The flavonoid properties of Passionflower activate GABA receptors providing anxiolytic and sleep promoting values. During the early twentieth century, Passionflower was popular as a nervine tonic or herb (calmative) and was included in the United States National Formulary. Approved by the German Commission E, Passionflower is used extensively in Europe.
•L-Theanine for Calming and Stress Reduction
Theanine promotes rest while helping to reduce stress. Found in green and black teas, theanine has been shown to have a calmative effect in the brain. More recent studies have shown theanine has a counter balancing effect on caffeine in the body.
Lifestyle Secrets for Restful Sleep:
1.) Create a bedtime habit. Our bodies respond well to a routine which is in accordance with our circadian rhythm. The human sleep circadian rhythm is a natural 24 hour cycle that defines time for sleep and awakening in accordance with lunar and solar patterns (day an night). This means that humans are programmed to go to sleep when night falls and awaken with the rising sun.
2.) Relax before bedtime. Avoid anything that doesn't enhance relaxation or causes stress. Learn to ease your mind from the burden of daily stressors and instead, concentrate on restful sleep.
3.) Eat several small meals throughout the day to stabilize your blood sugar level. If you feel an urge to eat and are hypoglycemic when it's time for bed, you will have trouble falling asleep.
4.) Exercise vigorously in the morning. Never exercise right before bed. Exercising right before bed causes your body to become overactive and stimulates wakefulness.
5.) Avoid hot, spicy foods after dinner, as well as caffeine or alcohol. These types of foods can create digestive difficulties while you sleep and impair your body's ability to rest itself.
6.) Make yourself comfortable. Get a comfortable mattress, pillow and clothing to enhance your relaxation. This will allow you to awaken more rested and rejuvenated in the morning.
7.) Keep your bedroom dark, as dark as possible to enhance melatonin production. Melatonin is the light sensitive hormone produced by the pineal gland that brings on drowsiness and sleep. Emerging evidence suggests that melatonin may have a beneficial effect of the health of the large intestine.
8.) Go to sleep early. Whenever possible, make sure you go to bed by 10 PM. Generally, the more sleep you receive before midnight, the better you will feel in the morning.
9.) Don't work or discuss work in the bedroom. Discussing work or contemplating on tomorrow's tasks will cause an increase in brain activity. When the brain begins to relax it releases alpha brain waves (such as at night). However if the brain is aroused by different thoughts, it begins to produce beta brain waves. A brain in a beta mode will have difficulties falling asleep.
10.) Practice deep breathing to relax your muscles and oxygenate your blood. This will allow you to have a deeper, more restful sleep.
